The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, December 19 reveals Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will promise to be there for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will come clean with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Plus, Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will pay Claire a visit. And Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will make Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a lucrative offer.
Y&R spoilers tease Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be angry about Jack’s hesitation to hire Kyle as co-CEO at Jabot. “Kyle isn’t just the obvious choice, he’s the only choice,” she’ll tell him. However, Jack will say she has to trust him on this. So, Diane will tell Jack he needs to talk to Kyle. “He has important news he has to share with you.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jack Stunned That Tucker Recruited Kyle
Kyle will come downstairs and tell Jack Tucker recruited him. “He promised that Audra and I would run your father’s company, in exchange for the help.” A stunned Jack will ask him when it happened. And Kyle will say it was a while ago, but he’s been playing Tucker the entire time. “I now know Tucker’s plan.”
But Jack will say he should have told him the moment it started. “Dad, I did this for you, for Jabot, I swear,” Kyle will reply. He’ll lay out what Tucker’s planning and Jack will tell his son to keep up his act. They’ll hit him with the scandal first. “While he’s doubled over, we will set him up for corporate theft.”
At the Jazz Club, Tucker will offer to buy Phyllis a drink but she’ll take a pass. He’ll sit down with her nonetheless and then offer her a job. But she’ll turn him down until he passes her a note with the salary on it. Phyllis’ eyes will widen when she reads it. “Tis the season,” she’ll say. Tucker will say he’s about to buy a lucrative product and needs an internet security system. Phyllis will tell him she’ll think about it.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will take a gulp of vodka from her flask and she’ll see Jordan standing at the window. “Victor come quickly!” she’ll shout, and drop the flask to the floor. But by the time Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) runs into the room, Jordan will be gone. He’ll ask Nikki what happened and she’ll say she thought she saw something. She’ll kick the flask under the couch and retrieve it once Victor leaves the room.
At the hospital, Victoria will tell Claire she’s sorry they doubted her, and she’ll be surprised. “Why would you want a monster like me to be your kid?” Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will point out her Aunt Jordan told her a vicious lie that wasn’t true. “You were wanted, you were loved. There’s more to you than what happened in that cabin.” Victoria will say it’ll take time to process everything. But in the meantime, her family’s in a lot of danger. “So please, I need your help. Tell us where your Aunt Jordan is. Tell us what she might have planned next.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jordan Prepares To Visit Claire
However, Claire will swear she has no idea. “She always said your family deserted me but she’s the one who walked away,” she’ll tell Victoria. “She used me like a weapon against you and then just tossed me aside, like a piece of trash.” Claire will add that she’s worthless. “The only person I ever trusted lied to me my entire life,” she’ll continue. “She wanted revenge on you all, but I’m the only one who pays.”
As she walks into her room, Victoria and Claire will follow. She’ll tell her parents she was raised on hatred and worries that she won’t be able to feel anything else. “We’re here now,” Victoria will say. “We’re here for you now and that’s all that matters.” Victoria will go sign some papers and Cole will tell Claire he feels guilty. “This whole crazy nightmarish situation right now is because of my mother,” he’ll say. “And I hate that you had to grow up thinking you were unwanted, because nothing is further from the truth.” Victoria will return and ask Claire if she can give her a hug.
Then Victoria and Cole will head to the GCAC to unwind. When she sees her parents walk in, Victoria will say she can’t deal with them right now. So, they’ll exchange some pleasantries and Nikki and Victor will get their own table. Victoria will ask Cole if he’s going to go back to LA. “I’m not going anywhere,” he’ll reply. “I’m staying right here in Genoa City.”
Finally, a disguised Jordan will put on a white doctor’s jacket. She’ll pull out an ID card, attach it to the pocket and head out. Jordan will end up at Memorial, peering inside Claire’s room, as she lays on her bed. But what is Jordan going to do?
